Es kann in kleinere Signale unterteilt werden, die um eine bestimmte Wellenl\u00e4nge (Farbe) zentriert sind.<\/p>\n<p>Es kann auch umgekehrt verwendet werden, indem verschiedene einfallende Signale (Rot, Blau und Gr\u00fcn) zu einem wei\u00dfen Lichtausgang verkn\u00fcpft werden. Vier isometrische Prismen werden mit optisch polierten Fl\u00e4chen hergestellt. Auf der Innenseite sind d\u00fcnne dichroitische Filterschichten aufgebracht. Anschlie\u00dfend werden die vier Prismen mit optisch neutralem Kleber zu einem W\u00fcrfel zusammengef\u00fcgt.
