Les lentilles sph\u00e9riques vont tendre \u00e0 focaliser la lumi\u00e8re sur un point alors que les lentilles cylindriques vont r\u00e9aliser la focalisation sur une ligne unidimensionnelle.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que les lentilles sph\u00e9riques sont parfaitement sym\u00e9triques le long d&rsquo;un axe de rotation central, ce n&rsquo;est pas le cas pour les lentilles cylindrique, ce qui implique qu&rsquo;une rotation d&rsquo;angle d&rsquo;installation des lentilles dans un syst\u00e8me optique n&rsquo;aura pas d&rsquo;impact pour une lentille sph\u00e9rique alors qu&rsquo;il produira un changement significatif pour une lentille cylindrique.
