M\u00eame si une surface para\u00eet parfaitement lisse \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153il nu, un grossissement suffisant \u00e0 un certain niveau r\u00e9v\u00e8le ses irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Comme la surface d&rsquo;un composant optique n&rsquo;est jamais parfaite, la transmission ou la r\u00e9flexion optique \u00e0 travers ce composant est alt\u00e9r\u00e9e. La mesure et le contr\u00f4le de la rugosit\u00e9 permettent de quantifier cette alt\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>Le contr\u00f4le de la rugosit\u00e9 de surface permet de r\u00e9soudre deux probl\u00e8mes principaux\u00a0: la diffusion de la lumi\u00e8re et la r\u00e9sistance aux lasers de forte puissance.<\/p>\n<p>Plus la surface est rugueuse, plus la lumi\u00e8re est diffus\u00e9e et plus la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;image est d\u00e9grad\u00e9e. Cela entra\u00eene un allongement du temps de fabrication et, surtout, une augmentation significative du co\u00fbt des composants optiques\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>Le rev\u00eatement optique influe \u00e9galement sur la rugosit\u00e9 des composants. Le mat\u00e9riau, l&rsquo;indice de r\u00e9fraction, l&rsquo;angle d&rsquo;incidence, le rev\u00eatement, l&rsquo;ouverture utile, le contraste du d\u00e9tecteur et la lumi\u00e8re parasite admissible sont \u00e9galement des facteurs importants.
