Plastic injection on a 1 cavity high pressure mold.

Dimensions:

D400 mmn  +/- 0.5mm

thickness 2.5mm  +/- 0.2mm

Shape :

Round with custom openings. Face with Fresnel surface equivalent to 240mm focal length.

Usage :

Plastic Fresnel lenses can be used as cheap, reproductible lenses for high quality lighting, for this project the lens is used to focus light at 240mm for vision quality checking. It’s Fresnel structure enables a light in weight and cost. Plastic injection permit a very low unit cost for high quantities.
